About Royal Ohana Vacation Rentals
Family in Hawaiian is "Ohana". That is who we are, a family that loves the area of Kona, Hawaii. We have been blessed to be able to have the opportunity to own two gorgeous townhouses in the Keauhou-Kona Surf & Racquet Club complex. We love these units, we stay in these units, we have personalized each of them and we are happy to be able to share them with you.

Ohana Beach Retreat

These 3 words perfectly describe the Ohana Beach Retreat. Ohana is the word for "family" in the Hawaiian language and this beautiful townhouse is the perfect "family" vacation home! With its exceptional location within the complex, it is just a short stroll to the beach, pool, tennis courts and bar-b-cue area. Air-conditioning will cool you off from your day in the sun and a peaceful lanai is perfect for enjoying the cool mornings listening to the songs of the birds.
We have done our best to include all of the essential details that will allow you to relax and feel more than comfortable. With abundant amenities and wonderful details from art work, beach gear, toys & towels, complete kitchen ware and utensils, to the soft bed linens. Relaxed Living Room
It’s all about comfort, and yes that is one comfy sofa. And if you have move than 4 people in your group this is the best pull-out sleeper sofa we have ever found.
Air-conditioning, cable TV, DVD player, stereo system, a lighted ceiling fan and natural light pouring in from the lanai make this a truly relaxing living room.
No need to pack any CDs or DVDs for you stay, we have several of each to choose from. Just another way in which you can relax and enjoy island life.
Open Floor Plan
Whether you are relaxing on the couch, lounging in the chair with feet up on the ottoman or sitting at the dining table, you will be able to be involved in the fun.
Your lanai is just steps away
Imagine enjoying your morning coffee as you listen to the birds' wake up song or sipping on a cool refreshing drink after a day of fun in the sun on your private lanai.
Ample table space, lighting and the cool breeze from the ceiling fan makes the lanai a great addition for your relaxation options.
Downstairs Full Bathroom
Always nice to have two showers to choose from when a day at the beach is over. Downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower as well as a full sink and vanity area. No worries if you need a bathtub, you'll find that upstairs.
Master Bedroom
We admit it - we are bed snobs. However this king size bed is neither too hard nor too soft and it will support you into a peaceful night's sleep or a well-deserved nap.
This room is air-conditioned, there is plenty of dresser & closet space as well as cable TV. So unpack and relax.
Second Bedroom
This room is also air-conditioned, has comfy beds that can be configured as either 2 twins or converted into another king size bed. Just let us know your preference when you schedule your dates.

Upstairs Full Bathroom
Large full bathroom next to master bedroom. Tub and shower combination here for those who love a soak in the tub. The vanity ares has a large mirrored medicine cabinet to easily store and separate personal toiletries.
Plenty of towels & wash cloths are available as well as a clothes hamper to collect laundry for any washing you care to do.
Lanai & Beach Gear
The lanai boasts a large area to lounge & relax. A sample of the beach gear available to use is also pictured above. We hope you enjoy the boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, soft cooler bags, beach towels and snorkel gear. All available to make for your fun days in the sun hassle-free.

This is the view of the green space just off the lanai area. Imagine sitting on your shaded lanai, refreshing drink in hand with the cooling breeze from the ceiling fan making your moment perfect.

"Hale Lua" in Hawaiian means second home. We hope you are able enjoy this well-appointed & air-conditioned townhouse during your vacation and also think of it as your second home. When we say "feet from the beach" we aren't kidding - we've measured. Imagine stepping off your large tiled lanai and taking 55 steps until your toes hit the sand.
Tiki Hale Lua has the same great floor plan as Ohana Beach Retreat but this corner unit is even more special. It is nestled next to the beach & the neighboring Hawaiian heritage site area. The ideal spot for those who want a bit more privacy and hear the ocean waves.

We are located in one of the only gated communities on Alii Drive. You will be provided your own gate code for ease of access and a sense of security and exclusivity as the gate rolls closed behind you.
Only a short drive to the fun and bustling excitement of downtown Kona, and yet an even shorter walk to a peaceful semi-private beach where you can relax and listen to the tranquil waves lapping up onto the sand.

Nothing feels better after a day of fun in the sun than refreshing dip in the crystal clear pool and relaxing with a cool drink in one of the poolside lounge chairs. You can also enjoy a game of ping pong in the attached pavilion, we supply the paddles and balls!

Whether you are a seasoned pro or just want to enjoy some exercise, there are several tennis courts available available to use. When the sun sets the lights can come on so you can enjoy an evening game. We have made tennis racquets and balls available in each townhome for your enjoyment.

Just outside the pool area and next to the tennis courts is a wonderful covered pavilion area. Plenty of tables and chairs make this an ideal place to meet friends or relax in the cool shade while cheering on family playing tennis, ping pong and enjoying the pool. .
Enjoy volleyball with cool grass between your toes.
Another great area for family fun. Grab the volleyball from the townhouse and head on over for a fun game on the soft green grass. A great way to decide tomorrow's activities - winner gets to choose!
Community Bar-B-Que area
Just steps away from your front door are a some very clean and easy to use propane bar-b-que grills. Located on the edge of a large grass area with a picnic table, Nothing tastes better than fresh grilled local fish and a cold drink after a day of fun in the sun.

The Keauhou-Kona Surf & Racquet Club is uniquely situated around and next to ancient Hawaiian building sites "Heiau's" that are preserved and treated with respect. Enjoy your stay and take some time to explore the various sites that grace our complex with authentic Hawaiian history.

One of things main things that made us decide to call Keauhou-Kona Surf & Racquet Club home was the beautifully manicured and lush grounds that surround each townhouse. There's no better way to start your day than sitting on your lanai, listening to the birds and taking in the beauty that's all around you.
Stunning Sunsets
A must do for every guest; something you do not want to miss. Grab one of the beach chairs in your townhouse, your favorite beverage and stroll down the path to the beach and enjoy a tropical sunset. A truly magical experience. Each one a unique ever-changing explosion of color. Some have even said they have seen the "Green Flash" when the sun dips below the horizon.
